As many members know, DATIA and SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management) completed a study on the efficacy of workplace drug testing programs. Most recently, DATIA and SHRM collaborated on an article regarding the study featured in The Journal of Global Drug Policy and Practice.  Findings concluded that employee drug testing improved productivity and attendance and decreased workers’ compensation and turnover.  For example, the study showed nearly one-fifth of companies experienced an increase in employee productivity after the implementation of a drug-testing program. Click here for the full article!
