Course Description and Objective
Whether you are an experienced collector needing to get your refresher training completed, including the 5 mock collections required by the Department of Transportation (DOT), or you are a newly trained collector who needs to perform the initial 5 mock collections, this is the course for you! DATIA’s Collector Refresher and Mock Collections Course will provide refresher training, mock collections, and the opportunity to explore and discuss scenarios previously submitted for Q&As. You will also receive a new training manual with the latest information on collections along with a mock collection checklist signed by the monitor.
Please note that this course does not qualify an individual to take the DATIA Certified Professional Collector® or Certified Professional Collector Trainer® certification exam. Candidates for certification must take the applicable course before any participant is eligible for the certification exam. You may use the 5 mock collections from this course towards your prerequisites for the certification exam.
* For those new to drug and alcohol testing or looking for a primer, DATIA recommends taking the Ins & Outs of Drug & Alcohol Testing online course prior to taking this course. Doing so will provide a primer allowing you to enhance your educational experience during this course.
